IPMP 簡介

IPMP (Isopropyl Methylphenol)，又稱繖花醇，INCI Name(Isopropyl cresols/o-Cymen-5-ol)，在1952年時，日本將IPMP使用於醫藥品，常用在抗菌、抗痘的藥物中，現在已廣泛應用於醫藥品及化粧保養品等領域，如抗痘保養品、洗面乳、漱口水、非藥用牙膏、抗菌洗手乳、私密處抗菌產品、環境抗菌產品等，也是台灣法定的抗菌、防腐成份，限量0.1%，具有無味、無臭、無刺激性、廣泛的抗菌力等特性。

IPMP是單萜酚類化合物，最常見的代表性化合物為香芹酚和百里酚，這二種成分廣泛存在於天然植物中，如羅勒、百里香和香菜。研究指出，這類化合物具有抗菌、抗氧化、抗發炎、抗真菌、抗病毒等活性，已廣泛應⽤於⾷品、醫藥、⽇化產品等領域。

IPMP 功效

藥用

IPMP用作細菌性皮膚病的殺菌劑和口腔殺菌劑，也是許多抗痘藥物中常用到的成分

研究指出，含IPMP與鋅的牙膏具有直接的抗菌作用並能抑制口腔疾病相關過程；含IPMP與甘草酸二鉀的牙膏在改善牙齦炎相關症狀方面表現出有效的效果；另篇研究指出，含IPMP及Cetylpyridinium Chloride的低粘度漱口水對肺炎和口腔感染相關細菌表現出良好的抗菌作用，因此適合將IPMP應用在牙膏、漱口水等口腔護理產品中。

*抑制痤瘡丙酸桿菌生長的抗菌作用

*研究指出，0.1%的濃度對痤瘡丙酸桿菌具有充分的抗菌活性，能幫助改善痘痘情況

基於以上特性，IPMP非常適合用於抗痘產品中，也是抗痘類保養品經常使用的成分
